Who is Dodó?

My name is Katalin Vadász Lindgren, I live with my family in Budapest.
Beside working as an economist I always have had great interest in drawing and painting, and attended several art courses.
I have painted oil- and gouache portraits, figures, different silk products and porcelaine.
In 1995 I decided to take a challenge in my life and started to study fashion design and knitwear production.
In 1998 I was awarded the 2nd place in the competition Young Hungarian Fashion Designer of the Year.
In 1999 I introduced my first knitware collection under the brand name Dodó.
Fashion design demands a lot of fashion drawings and these drawings started to turn into rather more graphic art pictures with fantasy figures.
These pictures are available now as art prints and limited prints. I usually make series on different themes that I create myself.
Within these themes You can find "pretties", garden folks, bud babies, flower fairies and other mystic creatures.
